In February 2017, American triathlete Beth Gerdes was given a 2-year suspension for presence of ostarine, and American triathlete Lauren Barnett was given a 6-month suspension for the presence of Ostarine. Both triathletes claimed contamination from salt tablet supplements. Lauren Barnett was able to provide tablets and sealed bottle tablets which both tested positive for contamination, thus only the 6-month suspension. The 2-year suspension still stands for Beth Gerdes who provided tablets for testing, but tests showed only low levels of ostarine not high enough to confirm the finding.
Kaha is a wellness app with a single aim of improving mental and physical health for the corporate world; it does this by basically turning walking into a fun and social game whilst fundraising for charity. We basically split companies into teams and set up various challenge every month and see who can top the leaderboard – the winners get recognition for this and the choice of where the monies are spent. So, we encourage people to be more active (a good thing for them personally and a positive for company productivity!) and empower staff by fundraising for their chosen charity via ’staff picks’.
