Mast e side effects

My doctor put me on a natural progesterone cream and it made me feel horrible. I was only taking it once a day/ 1 pump which seemed like a lot.

I was breaking out all over my body and very oily. My hair became extremely limp and thin and I felt depressed... not myself emotionally. Is there a secret to taking this? Or is there any other product that might work better for me?

My saliva tests showed that my progesterone levels are very low, so I am already having a ton of other yucky symptoms. The cream just seemed to send me over the edge. Is this normal? Also, I have never been on HRT and I am 36 years old.

Thanks for any info.

The following side effects have been reported as hypersensitivity reactions: erythema multiforme (Stevens-Johnson syndrome), exfoliative dermatitis, epidermal necrolysis (Lyell's syndrome) with corneal damage, drug rash with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS), anaphylaxis, serum sickness syndrome, pneumonitis (with or without eosinophilia), vasculitis, fibrosing alveolitis, pleuritis, pericarditis (with or without tamponade), allergic myocarditis, polyarteritis nodosa, lupus erythematosus-like syndrome, hepatitis and hepatic necrosis (with or without immune complexes), fulminant hepatitis (sometimes leading to liver transplantation), parapsoriasis varioliformis acuta (Mucha-Haberman syndrome), rhabdomyolysis, photosensitization, arthralgia, periorbital edema, conjunctival and scleral injection, alopecia, and interstitial lung disease.

Since undenatured whey proteins are 70-90% pure protein, people on protein restricted diets should calculate it into their daily protein allowance. People with organ transplants or anyone on immunosuppressing medications should discuss supplementation with their doctor, as undenatured whey has been shown to improve immune function. Individuals with the autosomal‐recessive metabolic disorder cystinuria (excessive loss of cysteine in urine) are at higher risk of developing cysteine nephrolithiasis (kidney stones linked to this condition).

There are rare case reports of hydrochlorothiazide-induced immune hemolytic anemia. The following illustrates a fatal case:

A 53-year-old man with hypertension developed nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and progressive anorexia and weakness associated with scleral icterus, anemia with spherocytosis, dark red urine with proteinuria, bilirubinuria, hemoglobinuria, and elevated lactic dehydrogenase levels 18 months after beginning hydrochlorothiazide and methyldopa. Haptoglobin was less than 50 mg per dl. Direct and indirect Coombs tests were positive. The patient died suddenly; autopsy revealed no obvious cause of death, left ventricular hypertrophy, and mild coronary atherosclerosis. [ Ref ]

Mast cell tumors are an uncommon occurrence in horses . They usually occur as benign, solitary masses on the skin of the head, neck, trunk, and legs. Mineralization of the tumor is common. [27] In pigs and cattle , mast cell tumors are rare. They tend to be solitary and benign in pigs and multiple and malignant in cattle. [4] Mast cell tumors are found in the skin of cattle most commonly, but these may be metastases from tumors of the viscera . [28] Other sites in cattle include the spleen, muscle, gastrointestinal tract, omentum , and uterus. [29]
